Last night was amazing. And all we did was talk. I thought it was about sex. It was the first time we had spent any real time together in over a year. We just spent time together on the roof of a club snuggling. Nothing happened yet everything happened.

He dropped me off at my apartment a little over an hour ago without the promise of anything more. We might never see each other again. Or we might see each other every day.

I’m supposed to go to class in an hour. Instead, all I can do is stare at my phone, contemplating my next move. I’ve never texted him before. I’ve never told him that I needed him. I don’t even know if I do need him. But I want him. I want to share something that changed my life.

So I take a chance. I open my flip phone and text him.
